Last July my dog passed away, it was a very difficult time. I created a thread about it here, many of you had some very kind and supportive words for me, and I appreciated that very much. With this thread I wanted to introduce to you this handsome fellow that entered my life a few days ago.....say hello!
Aww.. what a cutie! We have a black lab/great Pyrenees mix. A hundred and five pounds of sweetness. I hope your pup has some black lab in him. Best dogs, evah!
His name was Max when I picked him up, I am considering changing the name, Max is just too common of a moniker for a dog. Then again I can simply just change it to Maxwell, and say he is named after James Clerk Maxwell
Nooo go with something unique. The worst thing is hearing a pet with an unthoughtful name. Even the council and registrations get a kick from filling out documents for a dog with a unique name. I've been told personally that's it's quite refreshing.
I think that if the earth were knocked off its axis and it crashed into the sun, that would be the worst thing. Unthoughtful pet names would be lower down on the list.
Max is ok. good name. Sorry you lost your other friend. If my dog died I think i'd have to put my wife in a nut house. Every time she goes some where for an extended stay she calls & asks how our dog is. I know our pecking order!!!
I instantly thought when I saw the pic (despite the black colour) there could be some shepherd in it! :-D This is because we got a german shepherd and as a pup he had a lot of the same characteristics. Which are very typical for a german shepherd pup but will be gone once they're older (ears will probably go up for instance). They're disgustingly cute at this age Next is this stage where his paws grow a bit faster than the rest of his body
