New corduroy hooded dress

So I made a hooded dress. This one took forever!

This dress is awesome!! I really like the way of the long back and the sleeves look totally fantastic!! The appliques look great, too!!

 

Thanks you guys! I really liked making this one! It just flowed..I had no idea in my head as to what it would look like. I started with the hood and just pieced it together as I went.

its very Druid! My great grandmother would have LOVED that dress... which is a complement, because although she had green hair towards the end, the woman had amazing taste. I love it too, BTW.. haha!

Wow that is just awesome. The pictures were a little too dark so I modified the first and third one in photoshop to show more detail. Cre I hope you dont mind me posting the modified pictures but I think your craftswomanship will be even more appreciated when seen in detail.

Thanks everyone..and thanks Lace and Feet. I know my pics were dark. I had every light in our house on and they still came out dark. Thanks for lightening the pics.

 

Does that skirt that seems to be "under" it go with it? It looks like it does (the colors match) but wasn't sure. Either way, beautiful work.. I wish I could sew like that.

Cre, you've done it again. I think this one is my favorite. I have put down my hooks this week to try and make a jacket, but I don't think my clothing will ever compare to the wonderfullness that you and May create!
