Hiya! I'm Samantha but you can call me Sam or Klown. I'm no stranger to forums, this set up is pretty familiar to me... Just new to this forum and I hope it becomes one I can really get into. I'm 30 something, Virgo, I'm an artist/writer of various mediums, I adore music (huge TOOL fan), I grow various plants, I love to cook... Blah, blah, blah... Happy to be here, how the hell are all of you doing?
Awesome weather here today in central Connecticut, close to Hartford. As for Florida? Orlando airport (MCO) three times in 2010, but not into the city itself (plane stops or changes). Tampa in 2009 for 3 nights. That was my first-ever visit to the state. Me and my brother did the Cowboys vs Buccaneers NFL game. Damn that humidity was BRUTAL! :bigcry:
I'm in the general area of Tampa bay but not in the city. Personally not a fan of the weather... Or the state. The storms are nice but they bring on more humidity. Eventually I'll get out of this place.
"Something has to change, undeniable dilemma, boredom's not a burden anyone should bare..." Hi. You're not too far from me Writing's an interest for me too. Love Hunter S. Thompson and the lyrics of folks like Bob Dylan and Maynard James Keenan. Came out to watch you play... why are you running away? Jacob
Hi Sam, I'm Robert. I'm 45/bi/married and live in Orlando. My wife doesn't know that i'm bi and she's not a fan of the naturist/nudist lifestyle, so, I look for opportunities for myself when I can. Most of the nude beaches in Florida are on the East coast, so, when i'm in Miami, I try to visit Haulover. I'm going to be in downtown Tampa for work at the beginning of June. Can you give me some pointers on places to hang out naked (i'm not looking for a hook-up, just a casual place to undress and enjoy the weather)? I'll be working day's so, I only have the nights free. I like the fact that you live "off the grid." If it wasn't for my work, i'd be going that direction as well. What are some of the things that you avoid doing? Thanks, Robert
Hi Sam! Welcome! I'm a new member too, from Arizona. I also enjoy arts, as I paint, sketch and used to do silver smithing. For music I enjoy rock of the 70's, 80's and some of the 90s. In fact I may go to this concert here in Phoenix on Saturday: Journey, Doobie Brothers, Dave Mason.
I do not currently live off the grid, its an interest of mine and a goal I'm working toward. I'm really not familiar with any places like that in Tampa... The closest I'm aware of is some resort I don't know the name of in Land'o'lakes. I don't have much interest in the life within the state of Fl, I'm far more interested in slowly making my way west, living/camping here and there... Backpacking I suppose you'd call it. Anyway good luck on finding a place to suit your needs.
I really want to go to AZ, have for a very long time. I was almost there last October, bought tickets to a Halloween festival in Tempe... Was gonna see Tool and Primus but I couldn't find a way out there, original plans fell through so I brokenheartedly sold my tickets. Man I'm still upset over that.
Rob, I'm a gay male living in rural central Florida, so I can tell you that where I'm at there isn't much to choose from in terms of partners (it's mostly and too many old men) or nude dives. Also, I haven't actually been to a nudist resort. HOWEVER, Camp Mars, which is down the road from me is a well-known and popular (as one can be) nude resort for gay man. Playalinda beach is the most geographically and idealistically close thing to a nude beach to you up in O-Town as you can get without going to Haulover (you basically only have two choices in Florida... and since it's a red state... you really only have one... and that's Haulover). But since beaches close at night, you might wanna look more into a resort or even a bathhouse like Club Orlando (I've never been there... I'm just mentioning it as an idea) for shorter, more sex-related establishment. Nude resorts typically frown upon sexual behavior in public (contrasted to most non-public areas of a bathhouse), but if it's just hanging out and letting it all hang out you want, a resort might work for a weekend. Incidentally, I'd love to check out Camp Mars, and I'd love to camp on a private island or a secluded island campground somewhere to be one with nature. I'm a bit shy in that way. I've never been naked in front of people in a casual setting like that. I've been to Playalinda but I still wore a swim brief =P Jacob
Sam I'm so sorry you didn't make it to Arizona last fall. Fall, winter and spring are great times to visit the Phoenix area! Lots of festivals, fairs, gatherings, concerts during the cooler weather. Summer Is not so bad as the big concerts still come and cooler weather is a short drive away to Sedona and Flagstaff. Message me if you ever want to visit here!
Hey Sam, Thanks for responding. Good luck with you move and I hope you find what you are looking for.
Hey Jacob, I've heard that Playalinda can be hit or miss. Sometimes people are cool with nudity, and sometimes not. I've been to Haulover and had a good day. I know about Club Orlando and get my groceries right next door. Camp Mars is a bit far, but, do you get up to Orlando?
