The FAQs

These FAQs provide an entry point to the approach and scientific findings of the Working Group II Fifth Assessment Report. For summary of the scientific findings, please see the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) and Technical Summary (TS). These FAQs, presented in clear and accessible language, do not reflect formal assessment of the degree of certainty in conclusions, and they do not include calibrated uncertainty language presented in the SPM, TS, and underlying chapters. The sources of the relevant assessment in the report are noted by chapter numbers in square brackets.
