hey im going to buy a pipe next friday, i just wanna know wich ones i should look for and how much do u think it will cost, i would prefer a smaller one so i can hide it easie. any info would help, thanks

 

a glass piece is always good. try to get it thick so there is less chance of it breaking. make sure its of good size so you don't have to light it so close to your head. a decent glass piece can be anywhere from $50-$70. it all depends on the piece. they have glass pieces that are cheaper, but they aren't as thick. if you didn't want to get a glass bowl, you can get like a small metal one from like a tobacco shop for $10. you could also get a metal zepplin for around that price.

it really all depends on what your looking for. depending on the things you want your bowl to have, that will change the price of the piece.

 

get a pipe that is as long as your dick is erect. unless your asian. haha jk. get one thats like at least 6 inches so you dont burn your face like chinese say. if you go to a swap meet orsomething you can prolly get one for 20$. dont get it at a smoke shop cuz they just overprice shit. thickness kinda matters, but the fact is a) you'll lose it before you break it b) you'll get it jacked before it breaks or busteed c) it'll probably break no matter on thickness eventually.

um if you're looking for a "mini bong", look at some bubblers - they are like pipes that filter through water, a cross between bong and pipe. you can always buy little cheap metal pipes for ~15 bucks, but glass seems to be most recommended (i haven't smoked out of glass ). post your piece when you get it!

i dont have any pics but a bubbler looks like a pipe with another chamber below the primary one
the bowl has a tube going down into another chabmer filled with water, and air is inhaled from above that, so its in essence a miniature bong

 

so would u guys say u prefer a bubbler ova a pipe?

Well, portability can be an issue. I like a pipe over a bong or a bubbler cause you can keep it in your pocket and you can be walking around and be like oooh! I feel like a toke right now! and pull it out and use it. Bongs and bubblers require access to water. Also, a pipe is alot more inconspicuous. I reserve my bong for indoor use primarily. And for a first peice, I'd definetly reccomend a pipe, because lots of noobs have trouble figuring out how to work a bong. Glass pipes are easiest to clean. I find metal gets way too hot, and I've heard rumour that they can release toxins or something. Wood ones are fun, and cheap. Good luck, and post your peice after =]

lol after all that i jus bought a pipe off my friends for 10 bucks
its realy small(bout tha size of my pinkie finger) it doesint looki dat gud but it werks great n a bit stained n shit but i gawt it in sum iso 77% (dats all i had) it werking gud rite now, i jus need ta get rid of sum shit round tha bowl and im gud so ima let it rest in der fer tha nite

I can't remember if I've smoked out of glass before. Probably not. It's supposed to be sooo good. Can't wait til I'm 18, I'll probably go get one.

I do, however, have a small metal pipe with a ceramic handle that I bought at a headshop when I went with my friends. Cheap, 13 bucks with a screw-on top thing. The doubleblown (which is what you want) glass pipes ranged from $42 to roughly $60 and were way above my price range. Maybe you should buy one at a flea market or equivalent. I'm sure they sell cheap ones there.


Gahhh shit you already got one. heheh. Looks like a single-blown pipe. 10 bucks is a steal, since they're easy to clean. You could use the alcohol or I think I've heard that boiling it works, too.
