The other day I bought some wire and craft tools so I could experiment with other things aside from hemp, and I have to say my first attempt didn't turn out too bad. I made the chain out of jump rings, which I did myself instead of buying them. I used 18 ga wire for everything, including the spirals. I also love these beads, I'm glad I finally found a use for them as they didn't have wide enough holes to lace onto hemp. I kind of did it in a double chain, as I didn't know if just a single row would be sturdy enough to hold the weight of all the beads. If anyone has experience with wire jewelry and has any tips or project ideas, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you so much for looking loves.
If you liked doing things with jump rings you should check out this site: http://www.mailleartisans.org/ And this site: http://www.theringlord.com/ Maille Artisans has all kinds of patterns for chains and stuff. they also have a gallery that you can look at to get inspired. The ring lord is a great place to buy premade rings. I used to make my own rings until I found this place. I love them.
