Hey guys! When maintaining my dreads I have always re-threaded my roots to make them tighter and crocheted the loose hairs in but . . . I went and saw a friend who instead of re-threading crocheted the roots and they look and feel amazing! She got all the bubbles out which were caused by the cotton someone else put in my hair, got rid of the 'paint brush' ends and dreaded my bangs and I love them! Pics are posted in my gallery!

Those are beautiful dreads. How do you crochet the roots?

Why thanks guys! To be honest with you I am not sure but I'm going back for another session and she will show me how. The difference is amazing-they feel like 'real' dreads if that makes any sense?
