I saw Neil Young at the Fleadh in Finsbury Park a few years ago. It was pretty damn good. In my far-off youth I went to a gig at the old Wembley Stadium that featured Joni Mitchell, Crosy STills Nash and Young, and the Band.
That's a pretty cool line up, few amazing songs missing though, I expect I'd have walked out in protest....
Well it is a funny old world. I saw him at the Fleadh as well! Great gig. He's one of those stand-out artists for me.
Of course, I would have had to have stayed to the end of the show to be sure my favourite songs didn't come up before walking out in protest. But the sentiment's still there....
that's silly. let's hope you never have to organise strike action eh? no southern man, or heart of gold, or rockin' in the free world. deary me.
i dunno, i know it's common but i lurve harvest. needle and the damage done is one of my earliest musical memories, my dad played it on guitar all the time when i was little. that album's engrained onto my subconscious man.
Into your subconscious man? Never knew you were so in touch with your masculine side. No, wait a minute, I did....
stick a comma in there and say it in a stoner drawl. you're just beggiing for me to call you a girl. see i knew you liked it really. *ahem* off topic.
Yes you've ground down my sense of self worth so thoroughly that now I live for nothing but your insults challenging my gender identity....
....says the guy with close to 8,500 posts. shameful. again, neil young hasn't been mentioned for a while.
