    Hey folks,

Right so, im a dj and going to be producer, im a trance dj and gay, but im as str8 acting as one can be without actually being str8.

I love this so much im going to go as far as i can go but i just need a few opinions, how hard will it be for me to make it as a gay dj (trance)

I dont really know of many gay djs myself even though i would question a few including tiesto.

O and by the way im a nobody as far as djing goes lol, but its still something i want to do and i set goals (aim high :D )

Im out about 2 years, still finding it hard but im getting there, i dont want to be a gay dj i want to be a dj that happens to be gay!

Don't advertise yourself as a 'gay dj'.
I'd say if you targeted your music at everyone and didn't make a huge deal out of your being gay, it shouldn't make a massive difference.

    *shrug*
I'm not saying be in the closet about it because of what you want to do, but just don't mix the two :)

I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a gay dj mate

There are djays - good and bad

    and then ...

There's gay sex - good and bad

I knew a straight trance dj once - the sex was terrible

Why are you mixing them? It would be like someone going into a lawyers office and him saying:
"Hi I'm your lawyer, Ted. I take it up the arse. Now what would YOU want to get out of this case?"

    :D

Yeah, your professional life doesn't have much to do with your sexual life unless you are a porn star. Just be the best DJ you can be, don't hide who you are but you don't have to wear rainbow ribbons.

Phat Phag, there ARE gay dj's...
Go to Brighton and theres loads of 'Gay musicians'.

The difference is that they advertise themselves as such and tend to play make their music for the gay community.
