Basically i want to make something very similar to this but i don't know how it was made. Its crochet made from one stitch. Worked into a tube of lots of rounds. Have a look for some tutorials of stitches failing that I could make you one look on my homepage. good luck!
It shouldn't be too hard... looks like it's all double-crochet, I think? and then for the brim, it's just a matter of working double-crochet back and forth, rather than in a tube. Convenient hat tho - although if I were to make it, I would incorporate a little bit of crochet-ribbing to make it more secure and snug for the head.
