I mostly grow indoors. To be honest I never tried to to caught up in the technical crap and go with a good product for veg and for flower. For veg stage I use Sensi Grow Part A and Part B. During flower stage I use Sensi Bloom Part A and Part B. Both of these products are a 2 part nutrient made by Advanced Nutrients. Also during flower I use Big Bud Liquid and Overdrive flower enhancer both from Advanced Nutrients. Best luck in your return to growing weed my friend.
don't fertilize the plants when they are small. wait until the are at least 2-3 weeks old and have several sets of leaves. when they veg, get something that has a higher nitrogen to phosphorus/potassium ratio (called NPK ratio, something like 30:10:10). For flowering, get higher phosphorus (something like 10:30:10). don't plant the plants in a swampy area either. they don't like that much water. but it would be nice to be near a river bed for easy water access. good luck.
