I'm trying to find either a peruvian torch or a san pedro, or something that will achieve the same effect. I've had trouble finding it online, everywhere seems to be sold out. Any recommendations on a good ethnobotanical type site? Right now the best options I've found seem to be on ebay - either a 25" peruvian torch (I think it's the whole cactus in a pot with dirt and everything) for 50 bucks with shipping, or 100 grams of "peruvian torch powder" for around the same price with shipping. Are either of these good options? Looking to buy enough cacti to satisfy 2 or 3 people.
The powder seems like a good option, provided its not total weak shit. 100 dry grams should be enough for 2-3 people.
Agreed I ordered some from 2 different vendors in case one wasn't legit. I've tried one with success and the 2nd bag looks even better. i don't know a ton yet to really say for sure but it looks very clean as compared to the one i tried. also i'm surprised your having any trouble finding any as it took me all of about 5 seconds to find about 10 or 20 different choices. i don't believe the site allows sources to be given away so i'm not going to just flat out say it, but if you use google it shouldn't take you very long to find some.
I know 100gs dried pachanoi skins 1% is standard for me. They say good peruvian is 2%. So dosage is 50g dried peruvian skins is 1ft worth of fresh cacti skins which is 500g fresh. For home brew tea it is best to go with vitamin c powder and water. 1tbsp vitamin c powder per 1L distilled water = 1Lph3.5H2o solution. Simply add powder to a pot. Add enough solution to make mixture watery. Bring pot to a simmer for 20min with stirring and strain through a baking strainer. Return powder to pot and recook with fresh solution using enough to make the mixture watery. cook powder 3x. straining solution each time. Collect the strained cook solutions in a single jar or glass. Allow mixture to sit for an hour. Carefully pour off solution from sediment (decanting) and filter through a fine mesh baking strainer. The tea can then be lightly simmered on low heat in a clean pot to reduce the potion to a minimum. Another method (experimetal) would be to take the fine mesh strained decanted solution and hang it up in a ziplock baggie baggie by a top corner and allow any residual sediment to settle to the bottom corner. simply cut a small hole in the baggie to remove the bottom sediment layer. The solution is gatherd on a large baking dish and evaported in the oven on the lowest possible heat. Once solution has evaporated into a wet solid. Allow extract to dry with a fan at room temp. :sunny:
Ive never bought anything online. But the cannabis culture headquarters in vancouver have many options of psycadelics and you name it. peruvian torch has been my favourite so far. made it into some tea. amazing time
