Okay, for the past...forever, I've totally been infatuated with this girl. She's my bro's friend's sister. Now, they live aways away, which totally sucks for me, but I visited her a couple days ago, and gave her my e-mail address and she gave me mine. Retarded me; the first thing I did was to send her an e-mail telling her that I luv her. She sent me back one sayin that she "thought of me as a friend". Now, I am really in lourve with this girl, she's perfect in every way to me. I would really like to get some advice on how to get her to "like me" like me. 'Cause I really really really really like her.
Just be her friend. If it's meant to be something other than that, things will work out that way. Play it cool. You said you're infatuated with her. That's not a healthy and stable mind-set. Many women would take your love email as a psycho move. You're young, though, so you get slack. I've seen very similar situations bazillions of times. I've been in them myself. Don't try to woo her. Don't try to force the issue. She said she sees you as a friend. Take that as a very good thing. Respect her wishes. See the friendship as an opportunity to get to know her better, but don't be surprised if she doesn't want to be around you lots. Do your own thing and let her do hers. Sometimes the best way to pursue a woman is to not pursue her.
man, i was just in this position a month ago, and now i got a girlfriend (the same one in which i was in this position with)... anyways, riptide's advice is sound; i was stressin just like you, hell - i was even worse but i learned valuable lessons in patience and self-confidence... it all has to do with how you make them feel; make her laugh and smile, that's my only advice. And to do that, you can't be constantly declaring your 'love' for her, she wants you as a friend - fine. Play it like that, give subtle hints of more and she'll miss you when you're gone. But girls HATE when you constantly say I love you, i want a relationship, etc... give it time bro, patience is key in this section. Give it time and once you feel comfortable and confident, calmly bring it up, "hey babe, so how do you feel about us...?" - look her in the eye, keep a sly smile - meh... this was how i played it, or wished i could Aite aite, i'll keep it straight: patience and self-confidence. PATIENCE. AND. CONFIDENCE. PPAATTIIEENNCCEE AANNDD CCOONNFFIIDDEENNCCEE. I cannot stress it anymore. Fuck that, sure i can. PPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNFFFFFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. CHEERS. whoops no caps, arite bro - cheers.
I don't think you can get a girl to like you.Either she does or not.I would judge her answer about being your "friend" to mean that she doesn't see you as boyfriend material so your time would likely be wasted on trying to change her mind. ~peace
