    hi.

    Here the story.

about a year ago i bought a 1000w ballast and bulb. Little did I know that the ballast and bulb was not a plug in and go operation. It was a call an electrician and have him wire it for you.

A year goes by, i try to sell and replace with something easier no dice. 400$ invested.

Anyhow. At this point I want to be hobbying as I am bored as hell. I call an electrician saying i need someone to wire up a light for me as I have no idea how. I am told this will cost 100-200$ and he will have to maybe change wiring in my appt as well...

Should I be worried about having someone come into my appt to wire the light? In terms of safety, great I am happy. But do you think that is a security risk? I guess it is pretty obvious what people would be using a 1k light for in an appt.

really dont feel like wasting yet ANOTHER paycheck (i am always broke) and ending up with a bunch of bunking electronics and some dead babies.
