Need a translation please!!!

I recently found out that my mom's entire side of the family is Dutch. I am in the process of getting a tattoo, and would like to have some words written in dutch, but I want to make sure it is a correct translation since it is permanent... I would like "The Story of My Life" translated into Dutch. Any help with this would be extremely appreciated!

You can translate it as "Mijn Levensverhaal" or "Het Verhaal van Mijn Leven".
Depends on what you like better.

You could also ask some of your Dutch family.

 

'mijn levensverhaal' is better

 

Or: De TeringZooi Die Ik Er Van Gemaakt Heb.

I would have asked family, but all the people that would speak Dutch have been dead for a loooooong time!

Mijn Levensverhaal = My Life story
Het Verhaal van Mijn Leven = The Story of My Life" Like Bird Said.
Personally i would go for just for the one word "Levensverhaal"; Lifestory
but that's up to you ofcourse.

Thanks for the break down... I gave both translations to my tattoo artist and told him to use whichever one he thinks will go better with the piece, so it'll be a surprise
