We use to chill on the doorstep of a house nobody lived at, it wasnt facing the road either, so it was wicked.

I have many. My house in dartmouth would be "completely safe" if i wanted to smoke there, there's also a great deal of camps and cottages in my current area that are seemingly always vacant. Rural areas are so easy to work with.

I usually only feel completely safe in the middle of the woods. If other hikers happen to stumble upon you in their travels, and your smoking a bowl, more often than not they smile, say hello, and keep hiking. Or ask for some.

smoking at an abandoned house doesnt seem to safe, police usually tend to patrol places like that especially if ppl chill there

I smoke on the deck of my apartment, which is on the 14th floor, so it seems pretty safe considering my neighbors are mostly older ppl, or the adjacent apartments arent even occupied

back at home used to smoke in the backyard etc. anyplace that like you OWN or reside in is generally pretty safe

i like the idea of this thread btw

hell around here your safe smoking openlyonthe streets cops ignore people just smoking joints
i feel safe smoking anywhere really
i look at it this way..if you dont act like your doin nothin wrong then theres nothin wrong with what your doin...hidding only acknowledges that its something thats a bad thing
i mean i dont go waving it in cops faces or anything, & i'm respectful of others who might not want to be around it
but i smoke openly pretty much anywhere..in the park, on the street hell even in some resteraunts

Pretty well anywhere is okay around here, as long as you follow soaringeagle's advice and DON'T MAKE YOURSELF LOOK SUSPICIOUS! Treat it like you've had a joint in your hand since the day you were born.

Although my favourite spot to smoke is at a park. In a park. Any park! :) Somewhere quiet, with a cushy patch of grass and not a light in sight.

We have this old 'low maintence' road right out of the city limits. Called 420 road..Patrick's Mountain. Well. I feel safe smoking out there. And at friends' houses. I live out in the country, so anywhere on my property..as long as the parents aren't home..you know.

i have such sweet places to smoke... im surrounded by forests and hills and even a field where you can see the NYC skylight. i've yet to smoke up there though :-(
the problem for me is where to go AFTER you smoke and how to get there. cant go back to my house because my parents are there, cant drive anywhere because i dont have a car.

My place is my room. I use a vaporizer so there is no smell. And my door is kinda hard to open too. And the stairs and hallway are creaky too. I have plenty of time to stash my shit.

My friend smokes on his back deck. Right across from the police station. Theres a yard and a street between his deck and the Popos. But a piggy could just look over and see use toking. That would be bad.

Like a few ppl have said, I feel safe smoking pretty much anywhere (ive got a dealer across the road from the police station!) But where i feel completly safe is in my friends flat! Its on the top floor so we have nothing to worry about we can just sit back and get blazed without having to think we might get seen! Theres a group of us there nearly everynight after work!!!

Best place I've ever hung out was in this old fart's backyard when I was like 10.

Me and my friend would steal ciggarettes off his mom and then we'd go there and sit in the middle. It was like a jungle with a little oasis in the very middle of it with seats n shit. Despite the yard only being probably 25x20ft, we still never got caught.

One day we finally wanted to see who lived there and it was actually some guy I remember calling Bruce, and he asked us to come in (yeah we were 10 and didn't know better).

He was probably about 60, and lived alone. He was the founder of the well-known Canadian trail The Bruce Trail. We told him we loved to bike on it and he was so happy about that. He let us hang out in his backyard so long as we didnt light any more fires or leave butts back there. I ended up moving from that area about a year later, and I haven't seen or heard from him since.

I want to say something about these safe houses

    MMM (clears throat)

Dont do anything in anybody's house that isn't yours, such as an "abandoned house"

When I was moving to michigan from ohio we were selling our house but had to move up here before it was sold, these dirt bags went in and through a party and burned down the house. 10 ppl got arrested in all and went to jail for quite awhile. Anyways long story short, its not cool to party in somebody elses shit, it was a $300,000 house....
