There have been three deaths at Narconon Arrowhead's headquarters in Oklahoma since last October. Harry Smith takes a look about what is going on there.

You follow drugs, you get drug addicts and drug dealers. But you start to follow the money, and you don't know where the fuck it's gonna take you.

Don't confuse Narcotics Anonymous with NarCONon.

NA is a traditional 12 step program that really seems to help some people. Others think that NA and AA have some cult-like aspects themselves.

Narconon is just straight Scientology dressed up to look like drug treatment. Those exercises they were talking about are Scientology training routines.

TR-0 you start out sitting in a room quietly for a few hours.
TR-1 you sit in a room with another person staring into each others eyes without moving at all or even blinking for hours.

It goes up and up the training routines until you start screaming at ashtrays and Coke cans.

PT Barnum's maxim was woefully inadequate. He greatly underestimated.

behavior modification programs to get people off drugs are all the same..
aka 1/2 way houses. Ive seen NarCONon programs within the county hospitals along side NA.. Its all in your head if you want to except Scientology or Christianity ..

I've also heard they conduct what they call "Purification", in which they keep people in hot saunas for several hours at a time. It's hard for me to stand even 30-45 min. in a sauna in one session. I'm surprised they've never killed anyone that way. Or maybe they have and swept it under the rug. There seems to be no end to the crazy shit they do to people.
