Halloo, Im wondering if this shampoo would be residue free... It doesnt say and the shop assistants Ive asked couldnt really say. On the bottle it pretty much said this:

Natural Instinct products are made from plant based ingredients

Made with 100% pure oils and Organic herbs

    Made in Australia
    No Animal Testing
    Recycled Bottle
    pH Balanced

Ingredients: Purified Water, Organic- nettle, chamomile, rosehip, burdock +horsetail, olephin selhinate, coco betaine, jojoba oil, vegetable glycarine, sea salt, green tea extract, pure lavender essential oil, wheatgrass extract, olive leaf, suttocide (sugar extract), soya protein, citric acid.

Sounds pretty good, and its cheap and I dont need to order it. So let us know what you think.
    Peace

its the stuff that makes normal shampoo foam, which removes dirt- but it also leaves residue... and its carsenogenic (i dunno how to spell it lol)

heres a little article on sls:

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, or SLS for short, is found in over 90% of all commercial shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, dish soaps, and even toothpastes. SLS is used as a synthetic industrial surfactant (foaming agent) and an engine degreaser, it is widely used because it is very cheap, and thanks to heavy lobbying by the chemical manufacturers our governments still consider it “safe” so there is no incentive for manufacturers to use anything else. It is a highly corrosive chemical with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS - a safety guide used in the chemical industry) stating that workers handling SLS should at all times wear safety goggles, gloves, protective clothing and breathing apparatus. Furthermore it states that it may cause: severe eye irritation, respiratory irritation, shortness of breath, headache, nausea, vomiting, damage to the lungs, it may be harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Well, what do you think happens to us when we lather our bodies with shower gel, wash our hair with shampoos, then brush our teeth with toothpaste, we are doing exactly what the MSDS says not to do for our own safety! Yet virtually every one of us does this every day of our life. An even scarier thought is what it does to young children (see below).
Studies have raised concerns about SLS’s carcinogenic (cancer-causing) potential, it has been shown to react with other substances in personal care products to produce highly carcinogenic nitrosamines, a substance whose carcinogenetic behavior is no longer being disputed, even in the chemical industry. SLS has also been implicated in cataract formation and premature hair loss because it corrodes hair follicles impeding their ability to grow. It has also been shown to cause contact dermatitis (skin inflammation on contact with SLS) and has been implicated in immune system damage, which may then make us more susceptible to other cancers as well as viral or bacterial infections, and more. Some companies have switched to using Sodium Laureth Sulphate, or SLES, claiming that it is safer simply because it is less likely to cause skin irritation. However SLES is simply the alcohol form of SLS and has been shown in laboratories to create dioxins, the same ones that are the main ingredient in Agent Orange, used by Americans in the Vietnam war to defoliate the jungles of Vietnam.

hope that helps. its not like its going to kill you, but id rather not use it because it is a refined chemical and its not at all necessary. pure soap is so much better.
