I have a yoga ball that I lay on backwards about 3 times a day for about 10 minutes

really helps me 'cause I'm tall and prone to slouching. weening away from that, improving my posture, it's helped my neck and ear problems tremendously.

mushrooms, whenever I can get them.

whenever I have a headache, it's because of sugar.
so I don't eat sugar anymore and never get headaches.

I used to just massage my head and hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
mantras and vibrations are more healing than most can imagine.

    yoga...all kinds...helps the flow......

    circulation es muy importante, amiga!

i can definitely see myself incorporating all of these things into my daily life... definitely NEED to incorporate all these things into my daily life...

mushrooms might have to wait a bit though... i'm still nursing my child...

i actually just stretched out on my yoga ball like you spoke of... does do wonders for the posture...

do you use any alternative sweetners instead of sugar? natural ones like honey, stevia and things as such?

actually.....I just find food tasty enough.
being vegan dramatically altered my sense of taste.
I LOVE food...just the way it is.

If it's good for me, it tastes damn good

unless I'm working with medicines like san pedro
    ahaha UGH

    then you know...whatever.

i usually take aspirin (when not preg) drink water and nap... but i've heard ice packs on the back of the neck can do wonders. it really cools you off and i think helps dilate your blood vessels- kinda like aspirin thinning your blood.

i guess it depends on where the headache is though too and figuring out the source for it

    the fungus amongus...
i know of a mushroom/fungi that can relieve headaches and migraines. its called the
    DIAMOND WILLOW FUNGUS (Haploporous Odoratus)
It is burned to keep "spirits" away from the home (smudging) and breathing in the smoke from the fungus can relieve headaches/migraines (burnt like insence! dont smoke it) smells woodsy, sweet type patchouli when burned. i guess it also keeps mosquitoes away, a natural alternative to chemicals.

    shrooms!

Drink lots of water. Thats the number one cause of headaches people not drinking enough water. And if you drink pop or coffee, for every one cup of coffee or pop you have to drink 4 cups of water just to cancel it out. That 4 cups doesnt even count as to helping supply your body. Just to cancel out the pop and coffee

What type of headache do you experience? Migraine, stress, tension, mental fatigue?
Try drinking chamomile or peppermint tea sweetened with honey at the onset of a headache.
Mix equal parts of vinegar & water, bring to a boil and inhale the fumes for several minutes to help with migraines.
Try aromatherapy using lavender essential oil-inhale aroma at the onset of a headache.
Give yourself a "brain freeze"-this will reduce the swelling of the blood capilleries in your brain and will bring you relief from headache pain.
