Ok, now I know I am probably asking things you have all been asked before. I will start by saying I used to have dreads but they were done with the back combing and yes the wax so I cut em off now I would kind of like to grow some natural ones. I wash my hair about twice a week once with a nice hemp shampoo bar and once with just water. I guess I got my haircut in october and haven't combed it since. Anyone got any tips for me or should I just shut up and be patiant??

Sounds like you are on the right track. You could take a wool sock and just rub the hair in a circluar motion. I think you might be able to wash you hair more often also, the only reason you cant wash dreads everyday is because they wont dry completely. You should be iight to wash every couple days. CLeaner hair dreads faster than dirty. But as long as you do not have oily hair, I would say shut up be patient(J/K)!

    Happy Dreading

I did nothing to my hair for probably 2 months and they just happened. All I did was kinda keep them separated. It probably also helped that i have curlyhair

a good old wool touque on your head at night might help out with the dreading process as well. nothing like wool to cause some tangles! lol.
