I support it. There are some people that need to be incarcerated, but lets do it humanely...not stacked triple capacity, pot sellers next to psychopaths...
and these private prisons for profit have to stop. Somethings obviously not right when there's a profit to be made from incarcerating folks.
Alex Jones, as much of a nut as he is, isnt far off I'm afraid with his 'prison planet' thing....

with almost 7% of Americans convicted felons and 41% of Americans have misdemeanor convictions and the United States leading the world in crime. i agree our system is broken. the private prisons are BIG business wakenhut is a multi million dollar company. the judges send people to jail for long sentences the companies send judges of fancy trips around the world. there are a lot of people in jail that should be ther but about 37% are victimless crimes. see i support the death penalty but i think they should do it in MORE cases like child molesters, rapist, and murders are all SICKO'S and should be put to DEATH

I could not agree more with this message, the prison industrial complex is a crime against humanity. That corporations are profiting from incarcerating people, and the more prisoners the more profits, is disgusting to me. One of the major reason the to big to fail, failed war on drugs still rages on, thats the best way to keep a full house, and the pro prison lobbyist will spend what they have to to try and keep it this way. Not only is it immoral but steals honest employment from people as the corporations can pay slave wages to prisoners to produce goods sold to consumers, goods that some small business could otherwise made. This is very scary and one more reason too support Occupy anyway possible.
