Lots of Nativw languages have been disappearing , as well as whole cultures and Original Nations in the Americas ,since 1492 .

Navajo was used in the Pacific and Comanche was used in Europe during WW2, as a secret code

Some peoples like the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy), Hopi, Pueblo, Qechua, Arawak, Tarascan, Maya, Navajo, Cherokee, Souix and others, are just barley having success in teaching the languages to their children .

My Father was fluent in Comanche / Uto Aztecan and my Mother was fluent in Tarascan / Ayamara, but they never bothered to teach us .

Many of the Original First Nations through out the Americas are letting their languages fade away, in favor of the Colonial languages brought to our shores .
