hey,yo. I'm here. Anyone else? I'm actually FROM the pacific northwest (mostly Oregon) but ended up out here in october and haven't looked back. I've actually lived since being in the area, out in the boonies, in murfreesboro, in antioch, in east nashville, and now finally settled in lebanon. But our lives are still pretty centered on Nash-vegas. Anyone here do the drum circle on sundays? or how 'bout the phil show at the ryman on the 20th?
I should be passing through there next weekend...actually I plan to stay in or near Nashville Sat Night.
I've just come back from there & I've gotta say you people are just Soooooo nice there & friendly, I stayed on Murfreesboro Lane (Airport Inn) for a week & enjoyed it a lot Anyone thinking on going there check out Pirahanas or the Beer Cellar, 2 great drinking places (& easy to pull ) Thinking of moving there for a year or 2 Working at Dell ??? thats If they'l have me that is
I live in East TN. It would be ok, if it wasn't for the Republican influence. But most of the people are ok. I live in a small community called White School. It's in Sevier County, between Sevierville and Seymour. If it wasn't for the mountains, I would have pulled up stakes a long time ago. There is nothing like waking up early in the morning just as the sun rises, getting in my car (when I had one. Long story) and driving around with the window down. Really awesome feeling.
my husband and i may be moving there in a year or so so he can go to grad school. i'm coming from NC and i'm a little nervous of course since i won't know anyone. is it beautiful? i am trying to convince him to stay in the mountains or so. peace and love! :daisy:
I'm from nashscrill. If I'm downtown or in the area I usually hit up the concrete skatepark (off two rivers parkway, wavepool parking lot) or the 6th avenue/rockettown area. Sometimes I'll stray as far as printer's alley, but not often.
i was born and raised in thrashville. but my mother moved me down to florida. Tennessee was ok. but you really have to search hard for people outside the mainstream. =/
Shoot yeah! I was practically born there at Vanderbilt Medical Hospital downtown. I was raised in a few places such as Old Hickory and Inglewood. Now, I reside in Madison, where Rivergate is.
Hello, I'm new to the forum but from TN. Nashville to be exact. Just wanted to say hello to my TN phamily!! ~sus
