Name the artist if you can the other bands the same night , the year "dont have to be exact" and roughly the price of the concert ticket , if you were stone or high? also your very first concert and maybe the last one? .................My very first concert was in the summer of 1972 during school vacation at miami jai lai on nw 36 st near the miami inter airport. it was alice cooper the last "killer" tour . i well mention my other concert on my next post. the average concert ticket was between $6.00 and $7.50 i do remember all the concerts i went however i only remember 1 concert opening bands that was Quicksilver Messenger Service that played the same summer in miami jai lai fronton in 72" and it was The Chambers Brothers they play "time have come today" i never forget but quicksilver was just awsome and yes it was the only concert i trip on acid "orange sunshine" i had a good trip and enjoy the music my best friends sat next to me . for some reason i could never remember the other concert opening bands "few actually had one" during quicksilver beside chamber brothers there was a third band wish i think it was "The Turtles " but i cant confirm this ......any one from miami i hope you could help me.

I never go to a gig to get drunk or stoned, I go to listen to the music.. and I find it more enjoyable if I'm entirely sober.

If I could be arsed to trek up two flights of stairs to dig out my gig book I could give you ticket prices.. but I'm lazy. Sorry. :p

    November 2001 - Wheatus - Support: Relish.
    February 2003 - Sum41 - Support: American Hi-Fi, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
    April 2003 - American Hi-Fi - Support: Fake Ideal.
May 2003 - Flogging Molly - Support: Mr. Shiraz.

March 2004 - Billy Talent - Support: The Famous Last Words, The Holiday Plan.

... I haven't been to see a band in ages... If I could afford it I'd go see one every week, I like to go see bands that I haven't even heard previously. ^^

Well tha'ts just off the top of my head, but I've been to a lot more. I go to a lot of concerts just for a good time and for fun (if they're cheap enough) and if I need a good excuse to get out of the house. I don't have to be in love with a band to go to see them... It can be fun just if I'm with friends :)

But damn, seeing Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, David Byrne and Bowie all in the same year made 2004 absolutely amazing! And I'm not sure if Stomp is a "concert" persay but it's surely one hell of an event!

*sigh* I haven't been to a concert in almost a month and a half... Long time for me!:(
