Name the artist if you can the other bands the same night , the year "dont have to be exact" and roughly the price of the concert ticket , if you were stone or high? also your very first concert and maybe the last one? .................My very first concert was in the summer of 1972 during school vacation at miami jai lai on nw 36 st near the miami inter airport. it was alice cooper the last "killer" tour . i well mention my other concert on my next post. the average concert ticket was between $6.00 and $7.50 i do remember all the concerts i went however i only remember 1 concert opening bands that was Quicksilver Messenger Service that played the same summer in miami jai lai fronton in 72" and it was The Chambers Brothers they play "time have come today" i never forget but quicksilver was just awsome and yes it was the only concert i trip on acid "orange sunshine" i had a good trip and enjoy the music my best friends sat next to me . for some reason i could never remember the other concert opening bands "few actually had one" during quicksilver beside chamber brothers there was a third band wish i think it was "The Turtles " but i cant confirm this ......any one from miami i hope you could help me.

Supergrass sup. by 22-20s (London Astoria) 2004 Years between '97 and '04 I'd been to festivals (Reading and Glastonbury) therefore saw many many many bands...would be nice to list them all, but would not be fair on you, or my mind either
In no particular order and probably not all of them: Bob Dylan Jethro Tull Weird Al Gin Blossoms About 7 or 8 different Jazz festival in the past 2 years - La Crosse Jazz Festival in August being one of the best... Bad Religion From First To Last Say Anything, Northstar (Yeah I know... it was a fun concert though, and it was only $5 so I thought what the hell, I desperatly needed to get out a Friday Night) Straylight Run Flogging Molly Dropkick Murphys Coldplay Slayer Killswitch Engage Deftones Godsmack (All acoustic) Stomp David Byrne Warped Tour Modest Mouse MSO David Bowie Have got a ticket for the Taste Of Chaos tour in March My Chemical Romance Drowning Pool (twice) Alanis Morissette Barenaked Ladies John Prine Lang Lang (great classical piano player) Well tha'ts just off the top of my head, but I've been to a lot more. I go to a lot of concerts just for a good time and for fun (if they're cheap enough) and if I need a good excuse to get out of the house. I don't have to be in love with a band to go to see them... It can be fun just if I'm with friends But damn, seeing Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, David Byrne and Bowie all in the same year made 2004 absolutely amazing! And I'm not sure if Stomp is a "concert" persay but it's surely one hell of an event! *sigh* I haven't been to a concert in almost a month and a half... Long time for me!
