Definitely. I agree. I think people who know what damage it does and still use plastic for convenience (like a one time use grocery bag) are more despicable than the ignorant dumbfuck.

Experiments to find a solution are in progress. Its more difficult than bigger pieces of plastic (already a huge problem on itself) but impossible? Seems fatalistic

And yes, people do care. Efforts to find a solution are being made. I guess that its not there yet and we're not hearing much about it (not as much as several other environmental issues at least) makes it seem to you that no one cares.
