I've wanted to visit to a nudist beach or colony for a while. There's a nudist colony near me, but you gotta pay big bucks. What the fuck...Why? Since when does NOT wearing clothes cost money? I mean, I guess you gotta pay the folks to keep the place organized or something? Shit, how much organization does being naked require? Seems it'd be like any other place, minus indecent exposure laws...

I don't want it to feel like a novelty. It will at first, of course, but I want to spend enough time to where it feels normal, and putting on the clothes is what's strange. I imagine when I first take my clothes off, walking around the beach, trying not to be awkward. I'd be confused where to look, so I'd just focus on the ground a few feet in front of me, or something in the distance. Trying to avoid looking at people, and their...parts. And if I meet eyes with anyone, flinch away quick...maybe say "hi" or something, but that will just be weird cuz...uh...my penis and balls are just hanging there. Yah, that would take some getting used to. But I think it'd be a good, healthy thing to become used to for awhile, both being naked, and seeing nakedness.

In our times it seems a naked adult body is almost always associated with sexuality. We come up with terms like "camel toe" or "plumber's butt" just to describe instances where *GASP* the shape of the human body can be seen! Maybe my mind's in the gutter, but I think I'm an average male: My eyes are drawn whenever a girl leans over, and some cleavage is exposed. Yah it's "hot", but it's also kind of annoying. There's nothing wrong with arousal, but seriously...is the top of a boob worth my attention every damn time? Why is it such a novelty? How come anytime guys see a picture of a naked anything it's "Oh damn, I'd hit that!" or "Eew nasty". How come girls clothing is always accentuating this or that, what to show, what not to show? At public pools, how come kids gawk at an old person naked in the shower? It's wierd, but WHY THE HELL SHOULD IT BE? CLOTHES ARE WHAT'S WEIRD, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S FUCKING HOT OUT. CLOTHES COME AND GO, BUT OUR BODY IS A CONSTANT, IT'S ALWAYS THERE, IT IS WHAT IT IS, AND THESE RIDICULOUS TABOOS ANNOY ME!

you sound like a pretty normal guy to me and it sounds to me like you'd be going to the resort or beach for all the "right" reasons.

i hope you find the effect you seek and i think you probably will. good luck!

as high as those fees are it does seem unreasonable, but when you price it out for the mortgage on the property, the employees, the upkeep, water, electricity and that the mortgage and property taxes are year round while the money only really comesin during the summer it's easy to see why it would get expensive

we really need to push for public legal parks

You know, i understand where you are coming from my friend. I have never been to a nude beach or nudist club, and I really am not sure if I have to desire to go, because like you said, it seems like such a novelty now.

I think it is all about where the social boundaries are drawn to begin with. One of my favorite quotes is "you accept the reality unto which you are born." I agree with that fully. I often go out to the woods and camp alone. Much of the time I spend nude, but only when I'm alone. I am not ashamed of my body and don't hesitate a strut naked around the house, but I think it would remain an uncomfortable thorn in my side at a nude beach.

If anything, that may even be part of the draw. The fact that you are doing something that, in Republican America, is socially considered faux pas may be somewhat of a rush. It may even be something to help you get "out of your element" if you are trying to shake a crazy year or urban lifestyle. Who knows, I'm just showin my support dude. I think you brought a valid point to the table.
