At least I'll have someone I can vote for in good conscience. And don't go to the arguement that he will steal Democratic votes...it won't flie. votenader.org
LMAO, Nader is my dude. He has stole my vote before. He kinda like Ron Paul, not so much politics wise, but if you learn about the dude its hard not to like his character... shit is hilarious to me and really he doesn't have a chance at stealin no votes this go around because Ron Paul has lasso'd most of those votes already.
huh ron paul isnt gona be in the general election lol what u talkin about anyways, if hillary wins the nom, nader would kill her, mark my words
Nader is a wolf in sheep's clothes. His policies are pretty much right in line with the UN's 'Agenda 21'.
Green politics is a political ideology which places a high importance on ecological and environmental goals, and on achieving these goals through broad-based, grassroots, participatory democracy. Its whatever..... hippies. Die hard Ron Paul people will write him in anyways..... and those that won't will shift to obama. Nader will not effect this election I dont believe. See the thing about this election that differs it from alot of the previous ones is people are actually take'n it too seriously to waste a vote on his ass.
I believe Nader said today that dems shouldn't worry about an ulterior party's nomination stealing dem votes but instead worry about the republican thieves that stole the election in 00. Probably an important thing for dems to be aware of anyway. Even with Nader's votes, Gore should've asked for a recount in all of Florida's counties rather than just the counties he thought would go to him. It would've gotten him the election and he would have been doing the right thing as a political citizen.
He'll be an independant. Nader as the green party canidate in 2000, likely did prevent Gore, the Nobel Peace Prize winning enviornmentalist, from becoming president. But anyway, I disagree with him on several issues, he's overzealous on monopoly law. Several other economic issues.. and the mans against h1-b visa's which seems insane. I'm against his gun control ideas. Politically, I agree with him often, although about as much as Obama, and not enough to vote him over Obama. My closest canidate match was Kusinich.
So Nadar will join another race, make some money through campaign donations, and lose or drop out having made enough cash to last him another four years. He's my hero.
whenever I have hypnosis from the thought of what would've happened if Gore had won after all, I try to imagine that maybe congress would still be heavily GOP and hostile, maybe ppl wouldn't take climate change seriously because it would have just seemed like a partisan agenda, as it would have been advocated by the democratic white house. And mostly, sometimes we need to be broken down to a humiliating degree before we truly know how to repiar ourselves and restore our proper vision of morality and tolerance. A Bush Jr. Admin has provided exactly that: from suspending constitional rights in the name of security to diverting funds from gov't programs to fulfil his military and economic ambitions, he's shown us just how bad our gov't can FUCK us if we don't pay attention, and if we embrace it when a president says "yeah we're going to war, but don't worry about it-just go shopping". We've awakened to an extent...and I think we're better people
What a ridiculous remark. Candidates are prohibited by FEC regulation from living off of campaign contributions.
Bernie Sanders of Vermont is the one that comes to mind immediately. There are others that I can't really think of at the moment.
