Yep. It's kinda like jello... without the animal stuff in it.

It is derived from collagen found in the bones, cartilage, connective tissue, and skin of animals, traditionally cows. Most commercially produced gelatin nowadays is produced from pig skin. I think in vegan jello xanthan gum, arrowroot, agar-agar could be used as these are all vegan substitutes for it.
