My teacher told me to.put my shoes back on while I was seating on my seat. Was she right?

When I'm sitting at the desk, my shoes are usually off halfway or completely, but I have them close so that I can put them on quickly if necessary. Today I "got caught" that was so embarrassing! But I think it was unjust because in not the only student in our class who sits in bare or socked feet. Many girls do that and noone seemed to object. So why is it considered so irregular for a guy.

 

I would ask the teacher that question.

 

Could you wear sandals or wear flip flops to school? At least your feet your would be exposed.

Maybe she is worried the health department will burst in and shut down her class. (just kidding)
Maybe she suffered from overly conservative and oppressive parents and does not know any other way.

I just searched barefoot adhd thinking about this topic barefoot in school.

Few articles, I would defiantly have an outlet to fidget at the desk barefoot as opposed to shoes on. feel the floor, grab chair leg with toes, fidget

Teachers should know these things. ADHD we focus better 'fidgeting'

It’s her problem, Anthony. I’m sure the girls like your feet and your spirit. Now you have their attention. That’s better than most guys can do......lol

 

Most schools have dress codes that include shoes. But yes there does seem to be inconsistency of enforcement between the genders.
