    Hooded watcher
    shrouded by the cool
    north breezes
    moving in for the season.
    Positioned unseen
    by the lonely girl
    through the bay window.
    Her interstate bobby pins
    reflect a dim light
    from the watchers eyes.
    Catching a glimpse
at a failed attempt at sanity-
    he seeks refuge in shadows
    out of her view.
    She feels his icy breath
    grow shallow and short.
    Through a brick wall
    they connect and relish
    in incapability to speak.
