My Space

OK many of us are on both sites.
I for one like both sites a lot.
I have been on here for years and would never leave and to me My Space will
end up on a shelf someday.
What do you like about My Space and what do you like about Hip Planet?
ALSO-PLEASE do NOT post your My Space Addy on this thread.

 

Myspace has a lot of my friends that would not come here, plus if there's something local I can get in on that on that place... and it's more straight to the poitn I think.

But I'm not comfortable posting lots of things I'd post on here on myspace, I can be more open(I know not everyone's on here) and I can be more random, and I know more people here share similar views.

Plus this place is like a huge family and I've been here sooo long, and it's more tight-knit even though there's so many forums/people/topics here. And I like not looking at someone's profile but getting to 'know' them by their posts, etc.

I like My Space for the bands etc
Which is why the site was made anyway.
Also, I think this site is run better and has a Mission and is coming from a good place.

I used to have a MySpace account, but I closed it out I think back in April? I can't remember exactly, but it's been several months.

It was cool in some ways, but I don't know, I prefer spending my time here much moreso.

 

Ehh, I never got into Myspace. I appreciate the hipforums more, and like said above, we are more like a family here.

 

MySpace kinda made things worse with Nick, ruinned 2 of my friendships, stressed me and made me ultra-paranoid, and I had to delete it and get a new one, onto which I haven't been in a really long time, cause I've lost the password but although I know where to find it, I don't really want to because someone is sending me evil messages and to block them I'd have to go on their page, which I can't do cause I'm scared of what I could find there.
