My singing teacher wanted to start charging $10 a lesson

I get paid $20 a guitar lesson.. Music teachers need to make a living too ya know

My son's piano lessons are $20 for a 1/2 hour. His other teacher retired, she charged $18 for a 1/2 hour.

 

Holy crap that is cheap!

Fucking bargain.

 

As if I haven't sung every goddamn song from the Rocky Horror Show and Jesus Christ Superstar 78 million times.

I can totally tell if I don't hit the notes, I just don't know how to hit 'em.

Ya know.

 

You Americans and Brits with your expensive-ass lessons amaze me.

You need to rock the Rodgers and Hammerstein. Start with South Pacific and work your way to The Sound Of Music. Your singing will get better.

My son got a Billy Joel and a Beatles music book for Xmas...he's playing Eight Days a Week at his recital today...
He's also into ragtime music.

 

Mojo, that's seriously not a lot of money....I wouldn't pay it, but it's really not a lot.
