The dream i had the other night was rather strange and nice, it was almost like an out of body experience.
Before i went to sleep i did a bit of meditating which might have affecdted it.

Any way, in the dream i was looking down on myself sleeping in my bedroom, and everything was just as it was when i went to sleep, everthing was in the same place, even me (i had decided to sleep on the floor that night, and there i was in my dream, sleeping on the floor) it was a very vivid dream but very dark (probably because it was night time :p ). the only difference between my dream and reality was everything was sort of... hmm... half solid:confused: , like the dream world had merged into the 'real' world and i was in the centre of it, i could see lots of colours flowing round the walls and a stream of colour running into my body and shooting off.

I'm not sure what mood the dream had (i.e. happy, scary etc.), it was juts very 'fact'

    THoughts?

    Hi Tanelorn

maybe there is not really a difference ... fluid or solid, waking, dreaming, sleeping ... we are just energy and merging into the now all the time, even as the Now merges into us.

The dreamer's reality is the mystery.

In daylight we tend to define reality, and seek explanations (I guess this is part of the mystery).

    Just a thought !

hmmm interesting. my hopinion is yes we are just energy, energy that has been turned into matter and other things. but we are always in the now, we cannot merge into or out of it, because it is always here :)

i find it scary sometimes, i have dreams where i know i am in that world, seperate from the waking world, so how can we be sure which world is real and which world is the dream of the other? :H

Cool dream. I remember in the book The Four Agreements, the author starts out with the story of someone who had a dream similar to yours and it was kind of an enlightenment experience for the character. In other practices, finding your body in a dream is also an important milestone.

I had a friend who used to have outer body experiences from the dream state. Sometimes the transition would be smooth, other times he would feel bodily sensations, like heart vibrations. When I consciously OBE'ed, the sensations in my body (throat/head vibrations) were extreme, as was leaving and returning to my body. The book Astral Dynamics is a good source.

These types of things always renew my sense of awe.
