So I was really baked last night because I smoked chronic for the first time in a week and when I got home from work today I couldnt find my pipe for 2 hours or so, ended up riding my bike to the smoke shop before it closed and bought another metal pipe. I come home, cheef a bowl and chill then Im like hey I wanna go smoke a cigarette, I open my cigarette pack and theres 2 cigarettes in it along with my damn pipe chilling there lol. im like fuckkkkk the last possible place Id look since I had a different pack of cigs on me all day. so now im smoking and im thinking HEY! instead of having to load a bowl every time, i can just load 2 and smoke twice as long! so i have 1 bowl loaded with mids and another with chronic chillin with a quarter on each
I don't see how a metal pipe would be bad for you. It's not getting hot enough to melt anything or put off any bad fumes, is it? I would say glass is better though for sure.

glass just tastes a whole lot better. and doesnt burn yo fingers but to light both of them at once would be cool. my friend has a hookah and one time i hit all 3 hoses at the same time. it was groovy as hell
Ive smoked out of everything but I prefer metal pipes because theyre cheap and I lose shit easily. Also they dont break, the only glass pipe I bought was 30 bucks and I broke it at a hookah lounge the same day and didnt get to smoke out of it
for me glass is more than worth the extra cash. a nice glass peice is a work of art. and it's just like beer....bottles just taste wayy nicer than cans. but whatever you like man.

I have a metal and wood one that I love. Glass is still better but I still love the metal one. It has a wood mouthpiece so you don't burn your lips. It's badass.
