put the painting in a microwave oven especially if its acryllic paint - excellent textural effects and a nice cosy fire will happen ! have a phone handy - you may need the fire brigade

Put a dorritos bag in a microwave, it will shrink down really tiny but still look just like it did before you put it in it, then again I think its a chance of it exploading.
