well last nite my sister was on the computer and it started making a funny noise, i its on and i stick a pen in the back to stop the fan thingy it stops making the noise, but as soon as u take it out it start again, i moved the fan thingy round slower and it didnt make noise so i dont think its catching on anything. its just clicking really fast and loud. i have put a blanket over it so it dulls the noise a bit, any people on here know what it could be cause its annoying me now. ta xxx

    if i may suggest,

is it a loud buzzing sound? probably a fan going out. i've got the same thing right now, but it's just one fan, that's right next to another, so i'm not overly worried. i just turn my speakers up louder.

wiggy can you be more specific? the power supply fan can be replace by a decent tech not one of this assholes that tell you you need a new whole power supply if its a case fan the most it could cost is $14.95 for a bad moma 120mm the smaller fans are cheaper. so dont let anyone fool you .

Open the case and make sure the fan blades are not hitting any wires...
