Are fucking great I'm tired of seeing posts that are full with so much hatred towards their parents. If you don't realize that, without them you wouldn't exist! To end the recent posts like I gonna kill my parents, My parents are horrible blah blah blahso I will say that I love my parents and even though we have our issues but I will never hate them or want to kill them
Hooray, I love my parents, too! And especially - hooray for my mommy. She's the best. It's a nice change, to see a post like this. <3
My dad is a great guy. My mom kinda sucks. But we've never gotten along. Not even when I was a little kid.
I like my parents too! <3 In spite of our disagreements, fights, and whatnot, they are still my parents. There is nothing I can do to change that. I love them for the great things they've taught me, and the fun we've had together, in spite of our differences. Everyone is different, even parents and children, and disagreements are unavoidable. It's how you handle them that matters. Remember, there is good in everyone. There is always something to love your parents and family for. Yesterday, I went out to my mom and stepdad's new house on the lake, and my friend came, too. We shot some pull, watched the sun set, had dinner, and had a fabolus time.
Some people are goin to far when it comes to bashing but some people come on here to vent there problems. I love my parents ... most of the time ... like my dad abuses me and all but its like w/e... I cant do anything about it really ... Things have been calmer lately but iam lucky My parents let me be myself I am a veg and for awhille I had to buy my own food but since I lost my job and all my mom is being really suportive about it and shes thinks its cool I want to be a Vegan... they also raised me with good music lol .... I am thankful for the roof over myhead, the food in my belly, the clothing on my back My life is good most of the time Iam just trying to enjoy the real meaningful things in life I love my mom she works hard and I respect that and I appreciate it my mom is trying to do the best that she can and I really love her for that ... sadly she doesnt see it but w/e .... maybe someday she will LOL sorry for rambling lol Peace<3 Katy
Ditto. There are a lot of "I hate my parents" posts in here, but I also understand the need to vent. Even if you are spoiled, don't know how good you have it, or are otherwise whining about something stupid and superficial, there is still that need to vent and I guess it's better that it be on a message board on the internet than to the parent's faces, or worse, authorities that make mistake that whining for something more serious and disrupt an otherwise normal family. After all, this forum is for this kinda thing. But it would be nice to see some more "why my parents are cool" posts or "I appreciate my parents because..." or something like that. We need more love floatin' around in here!
i love my parents for what they have done for me my sister my husband and my nephews..Although there are the bumps in the roads they can always be repaired.. I've never had a good relationship w/ my mother although my dad has been my mom and dad put together. When it came time for me to go off in my own "world" Go off to college and be a parent and be a wife my dad had to let me go and step back. I was talking to a friend of mine who told me (i wsa getting frustrated) because my dad is always trying to give me advice when i know what to do... When i was talking to my friend and she said as parents children (grown) don't realise that parents still like to be involved when their children have their OWN lives when their married have their own kids and their own schedules ... they still like to be counted in ... and it tugs on their heart because they are the ones who created them/us.
