Update: plant is doing fine. on it's 3rd set of leaves and looking very healthy how much longer till I transplant? and should I plant a purple kush seed i just got last night?

well my plant has nearly doubled in size now. and is starting to actually look like a marijuana plant. I think i might transplant it in a few more days. What do those green spikes on the stem represent? after 4 of these show up i can start topping my plant right? after I do this and they start growin again. when will I be able to tell the sex? Ill add pics tomorrow
Here's a recent pic of my plant. I think it's about ready to go to a big pot. what do you guys think? can anyone tell what kind of strain this is? it's growin slower than most plants ive seen.
check it: I tried to take the best pic I could. There are little white pistil hairs coming out at the top. Is this uncommon, looks as if my plant went into flowering... an could anyone help with the yellow leaves and brown tip edges
every new step my plant goes into is too exciting, I probably won't yield much but i'll get some bud I grew myself to smoke
seriously... it might have just gone into shock after transplanting/new light schedule, prolly go back into veg after a while... what happened? beavers eat it? gluck
