My mums sometimes says...

"Finish your dinner because there are less fortunate people out there that have nothing to eat".

WTF? Does that mean I have to eat more than I can finish because people are hungry? Maybe I should FedEx my leftovers to feed some starving Africans...

 

maybe...just maybe she wanted you to feel fortunate
and haahaa yea eat till you puke cause some people are starving...makes sense to me

i used to just tell my mom not ot make so much food...

 

I'm eating fresh sushi right now. I fixed a laptop for the wife of my local chinese chief, and she just popped wrong with a huge fucking plate of homemade sushi. She wants to fix me up with a young chinese chick lol.

 

Maybe she's just one of those moms who wants you to eat because "it'll put hair on your chest."

 

It's just a mom's cute lil' way of saying "i spent time cooking the fucking stuff, you better goddam well eat it"

 

Fair play... my mum makes a mean apple pie.

i always thought that was one of the most ridiculous statements out there.

 

I know it's so stupid to say that.. like if the fact that you don't finish your food is gonna hurt them more, and if you finish it, they'll stop starving... I mean, I get the point.. but it still is a stupid thing to say.. people talk a lot but they do much and especially those who say things like that.
