Cool shit, the area around the eyes and the outer part of the snout are the best. I also like the outer tuft of hair on the right of its head. There is room for improvement, of course (ain't there always); something seems off about the teeth but I can't figure what. You were able to keep the intensity that shows in your less realistic work, which is really the best part. One of my favorites.
finally, criticism i need.. you know, the mouth region was the most difficult for me.. i think because of the closed mouth, and the angle.. Mandrills have a unique bite.. thank you for your feedback!
I think it's that the perspective is a little to the left. the teeth/nostrils don't follow the oval shape of the skull but the hair and all the different high/lo-lights are incredible!
