My Library blocked the Hip Fprum :(

Because the library in which I usually go to, to come here, has blocked the HIP Forum, I may not be able to come here as often as usual. I do not want to have internet at home, because I feel that it will distract me from doing other more important work that does not involve fooling around on the internet, even though I would be able to log onto HP from there. I also do not spend as much time on other places that provide internet as the library.

So this will mean that I cannot come here as often and so I have looked at the forum ranking to find other forums to go to, but none of them is like the HIP Forum.

Alone the colour of HP shows you that it is a forum that was designed by people who think out of the box, which I have to admit despite wishing that they could change it to something that will not make other people think I am not strait when they see me on here.

The people here are lovely. Some of the thread's topics are nicely distourbing. I do not want to come here less than before, even though others may be happy about that. Not only that I cannot understand why anyone would block the Hip Forums and not the loads of porn sites that other people go to. It is simply rediculous.

It's because this website gets tagged with drug (and I'm guessing sexual) content
Likely won't be something the library staff can help with, as it is probably a network-wide filter.. However you should be able to still use the forums via proxy or maybe that website that lets you show the forum in a different color (someone posted a thread about it in the last week or two - that would also trick onlookers into believing you are straight)

 

A public libary blocked face book one time when I was using it , and many other sites are blocked . The block looks for key words . The blocker for your libary may of scene some of thoes words on hip. You could save your internet time just for seiorus stuff like hip forums . desert rat

 

Sadly Hip forums has been dubbed a notorious haven for lazy pot smoking hippies with communist views and liberal ideologies

False alarm. I have realised that my access to this website was only blocked for the time in which I did not pay for being a member at this library. So it looks as though I will be on this web site for quite a while longer than I have expected.

I try to hide it as much as possibile at home also...

Minor details.....

 

The purpose of so many of the forums that exist are either rediculous or do not meet my needs. There are message boards for cars, parenting, pregnancy, games, adult sites, electronic devices and a million other silly things. It's simply rediculous.
