There was an article on The Onion about PETA and it finished with the statement "We at PETA won't rest until every animal is treated better than women" And I can understand that statement... Their view seems to be that we can't treat animals like a piece of meat, but we can certainly treat women like they are a piece of meat. In general I think PETA turns more people away from the idea of animal rights than it convinces. People don't usually listen to extremists....
