I feel so awful... I really hope she comes back tomorrow! She never leaves... this morning she didn't come to eat! I try to be positive and think that she might have gotten stuck in the neighbor's garage or something, and will come home when they open it back, or that maybe she went to look around our new neighborhood (my family has just moved, but it's been 2 weeks already, so I know that she wouldn't have try to go back to the old house now! It's a bit late...) Please pray with me so she comes back... I love her so much, it would kill me if she didn't!

:-( awww, hope she finds her way back. My mom's beagle went missing for 2 weeks! We all thought he was dead, but he came back, he was skinny and so happy to be home! Hope this has a happy ending too.
I had a cat who was 10 years old, blind, and who had moved with my family to a new house and a town he didn't know at all, who got kidnapped by some people living around who hated cats and put into a field far from home - he came back after 2 weeks, we all thought he was dead too, we didn't expect him at all, and he was all dirty and skinny... sometimes I almost believe that it's true that cats have 9 lives! Anyways, I went to look for Janis yesterday at night around the house, and I saw her on the street right behind my house! So at least I know she's alive and not far... the thing is, she ran away when my boyfriend tried to reach her... I guess she wants to be independant for a while, take some time to explore... we're gonna try to catch her again tonight though, we'll bring some food to attract her, let's hope it works!!
My dear penny *hug* have faith. When I moved, my cat dusky got really mad and ran away for 4 days, then she came back, she was wild and bristling. We had ot be very careful and gentle with her, approach her slowly, with food and milk. Eventually she walked in, apprehensively, looked around and settled in on the sofa. Give janis time. She will return. Oh and Janis looks a lot like duskys duaghter!
Oh, thank you so much Bhaskar! I hope you're right, that she will return... I keep the faith. Nick and I keep hearing her, but don't see her... yesterday I went to talk to these people living in that house where I heard her and saw her the other day, and they said they didn't have her, but will bring her back if they see her and can get her (I doubt it, she's SO shy!) I don't really know if she wants to stay away for a while more to keep exploring, or if she is trying to find the way back home... the thing is, she's not far at all! But she's very shy, and is extremely scared of dogs, and there are dogs in almost every garden around my house! I hope she comes back soon. Or some day... I love her so much! Every time I think about her, or worse see a picture of her or hear her on the street answering to me or Nick, I cry and can't stop :-(
By the way, I put tons of posters in the area, with a picture and a description of her, and my address and phone number, etc. I hope it helps!!!!
