Hello, I am xLEFTOVERCRACKx and I have lived in Thailand for the majority of my life (mainly in Bangkok). I have seen the city and I know the city, and since I havent seen a proper guide to Thailand on this site yet, I figured that I'll attempt to make one myself. Getting Started: Ok I am sure as most smart travelers are, you have already booked yourself a flight and a hotel room here in Bangkok. Bangkok is a really nice city, although it can be a bit dodgy. If you want to buy cheap clothes, head over to MBK mall or Chatuchak Market. They have a plethora of clothes to choose from. You wont be dissapointed. If you are looking to party in Bangkok, head over to the Thonglor/Ekkamai area, the Silom Area, or the RCA area. If you are looking for strip clubs, go to the Patpong Area, Soi Cowboy, or Soi Nana. *Caution: If you are heterosexual and prefer your women to have been born with a vagina and not a penis, you should avoid on hitting on women who are much taller than the rest. This shouldnt be a problem since most asian women are short anyways. As for Bud, I see that tourists advise people to stay away from drugs all together. As for dealers tipping off the cops, well thats partly true. If you want to score bud, I advise to not ask other tourists. Most chances are that they have been ripped off and are unknowingly ripping you off themselves. Best thing to do is to find some white teenagers and people in their early 20s who are not tourists (but are more like locals). You can spot them by their shoes. If they are in a group and are all wearing shorts and flip flops, they are most likely to be tourists. But if you see them dressing casualy and wearing jeans and pretty nice sneakers or leather shoes, most chances are that they live here. Best way to start with them is to ask one of them for a lighter to light your cigarette. Start a conversation, and slowly work your way to bud. They will either give you a number for a dealer or will sell it to you themselves. If you just want it straight from the dealer, get the numbers from them. This is because their dealers wont fuck you over. Also having a friend who speaks Thai too really helps. Please dont go asking random motorcycle taxi's or people on the street for bud, as they will surely rip you off.
