I've heard the sahding doesnt hurt as bad as the outline but then i've heard that its almost unbearable compared to the outline. I'm planning on getting almost the entire thing shaded in. Gonna hurt worse than outline?

It's unbearable because the needle is drug over your skin again and again.
    People think differently.

pain is all relative. the tat should be meaningful enough that the pain is a part of the meaningful process or that it doesn't hurt. at least that's the way it's been with my tats.

i don't think tattoos would be so meaningful if they weren't painful. it's part of the process...the journey of getting them. Pain should be the last thing on your mind.

My mum and I both say the outline hurts more, but maybe it's because after a while the endorphins kick in and it starts to feel a bit better!

on my first one the outline was a bitch.the shadeing part wasnt that bad except for the last color.i dont know why but that last color hurt like hell.another problem i had was everytime the artist would change color or reink the needles i would jump when he touched me with the tattoo gun.but all in all it wasnt as bad as i had expected.im going to get tattoo #2 dont tomorrow night.i cant wait!!!
