my first time gettin busted..

ok so i got busted february 3rd for a gram and a half and a little bit of paraphanelia. granted i live in idaho, so the cops here make a big deal about it. i was origianally charged with pos. of a controlled substance and pos. of paraphanelia. well, they dropped the pos. of pot and reduced the pos. of paraphanelia to this thing called frequencing, which is similar to guilty by association. i got a $300 fine and like $178 in court fees, 24 hours in jail, and 1 year of formal probation, which could go away in 6 months if i behave myself. this was the first time i have ever been busted, and hopefully my last. the whole thing to me is totally fucked up and a horrible way to spend the tax payers money. i promised myself i wouldnt smoke anymore while i live in idaho, but honestly i dont know how im gonna go that long without pot...any useful advice?

 

jesus christ all that for pot? out here u just get a 100 dollar fine and its done. jus ttell your will power and dont smoke, not much to say about it

i got that weed from a medical place in montana, it was hella good shit. and dont listen to fuckin freshdacre, i dont have a meth stash, i have never even touched the stuff. and yeah we get stuff from oregon, cali, washington and montana. but the shit grown here is pretty shitty, not gonna lie. and i know i can go without for a little while, but lately all of my dreams have been about rediculously good herb, lots of it!!! and when i wake up im bummed. and because i got busted i dont really hang out with any of my friends, cuz that would be too much of a temptation for me, and i dont wanna fuck up. so i go to work, then go home. i live in a tiny town with nothing to do, so i get hella bored and lonely. grrrrrr......i hate living here!!!!

The cops here pretty much leave you alone unless you become a nuisance.

 

That really sucks, actually just got off probation for a similarly lame situation. I had the same initial reaction, how is stopping going to be? Can't sugar coat it, it sucks, but totally isn't worth more jail. Just keep busy with hobbies and see what's learned/comes from sober stint; plus look forward to getting blazed once done!

 

i wish i could move to canada rollingalong, but i cant leave the state right now let alone the country. and i already told you guys what happened. what else do you want me to tell you? and yeah i am totally looking forward to that day. i had to stash my bong at one of my surrogate mother's house for safe keeping. cuz i guess they can to random house searches and shit. and there is no fuckin way they are takin my bong. how long were you on probation for rivers?

I was in the same boat a year ago this month actually. haha. Had to break it to my parents that I was facing possession charges over Easter dinner, the police officer laughed at my statement about that....fucking prick. But I had an onion and my scale. They were trying to get me to admit I was selling. What the fuck?????? Just me and my buddies rolling blunts. But I took the fall for an 8th of my friends weed and they never said thanks. I am surprised you chose frequency over usage. If that is even an option in Idaho, because in Michigan that is WAY worse than possession even. I got charged with usage and the judge was really upset he didn't have more evidence for distribution or definite possession. I know how to fuck their system with astroglide, smooth ride. But about the friends and not smoking, I went 8 months and after the first monthit wasn't so bad. Once I found some other hobbies with other friends not solely associated because of weed(I stayed home alot) I got over it. Even once I could smoke again I was hesitant at first...getting busted slaps you in the face with reality real quick.

 

Oh I feel sorry for you, I have been dealing, smoking, planting and smuggeling for almost 20 years now and never got caught...luckily.

 

a little off topic but why is it that people from other states think that pot from "insert state here" can't be good. do you think that your THC concentration in your dro is higher in california just because it's california? i don't get it. people from new jersey, new york, florida and alabama have smoked some dro here in ohio and said "this is the best i've ever had" or "this is the best i've seen in ten years". i'm not saying pot is better in ohio but guess what? this is AMERICA and if you have access to good weed in new york what makes you think we DON'T have the same shit in ohio?

 

It is all herb. If shitty weed is coming out of your state, it is not the plants fault, its the guys growing it that need to step up and start working towards better quality.

Sucks you got busted though, I am with rollingalong about moving to Canada, sometimes I just smoke walking down the street and cops drive by no worries. Ive had buddies roll down the window with a couple ounces and the car reeking of smoke and the officer just told them to go home. It is probably just circumstance in that case though, and a good cop. Funny enough, I have never met anyone that wanted to be a cop that was not a pot head first. Seems like a weird job for them, but makes life a little easier knowing you have some chill good guys and girls on the police force that understand what is what, and in return, you just have to let them do their job, it is not their fault the substance is illegal.

Getting busted sucks, but it is their job right. Hope the rest of your stay in Idaho is a good one.

for the purposes of protecting yourself.
Dont take further risks with law.
NEVER drive with pot.
Get others to bring it to you if continue to use it.
Dont carry it on your person, Etc.
Work mtowards a pardon if u have a record
recording members of the psychedelic community is the purpose
but they also want you to flip the bill for all costs involved in ''tagging'' you.
Learn how the game works.
Keeo a clean nose and watch the plain clothes.
