I'm not a writer by any means. But I found out some news about a past relationship that meant a lot to me and had to do something. Originally this was going to be a song, and maybe eventually i'll write a tune for it, but for now its just a poem. I figured of anywhere I could post this, this would be the most open to it, cause honestly it does kinda suck. And yes, there is a stanza written based on titles and lines from the Beatles Revolver...long story. Any who, here it is: Oh what an act You kept that hidden fact With hope, that lie, And months gone by, You thought it'd disappear But without a doubt The word got out And now its all so clear It's hard to look back On those good times we enjoyed For they've all turned black And all but been destroyed And now I want to tell you That I loved you too But had I known I may have flown. We could have been all done And these words I say in a special way Would've been for no one
