Right now I have a ceramic cup that has just about finished evaporating the off the 100% acetone. I used a gram of some kind of dark hard hash that had a tar like after taste when Smoked. I also used a gram of ground 17% OG Kush. Ok so Now there is about a gram oily black extract. Is it reasonable to expect my extract to get to the desired gold color solid by further extraction? Im sure what I have will work the magic when I mix it with some ground nuggs and Vap. I am Curious how to get That Solid Golden looking Stuff. Thx for reading.
Its a dark Brown Goo, I wiped some weed on it and vaped. Its Nice and tastes good too. No further refinement necessary.. PS: It was Dumb of me to post a thoroughly hashed out request for info. Ill surf for it.
try using butane with a lite green sativa.. using dark plant material is how the color sometimes comes out..
I much prefer the method of harvesting hash oil from my vaporizer.. its more like bonus prizes instead of wasted weed on a botched process
Ah,soo Yes the flowers were dark almost purple. Its a strange super sticky brown goo. Right now Im mixing and vaping it. It tastes very mild and is real nice mellow. Thanks for the replies Ill research your feedback to maybe up the next batch up a notch if Possible. Have a great night..
Ill take a pic of the cup after I dissolve the resin from my Vaporizer Pipe. It'll be 5-6 days before its has enough resin build up.
No Need to wait a week for Resin build up. Here is the Pipe after three days. Its frosty white already w/ reddish purple tiny bits. Thats why , as orison mentioned the Goo ends up a dark & shiny. There are ways to purify BHO so that you get a clear product. In BHO or other hash, there is a lot of wax and other impurities. They can be removed with a few different teks if you're interested. BHO can even come out very very dark. This will vary depending on several factors....
