jim morisson is the hottest guy ever. his voice is so.....sexy. It's really his voice, and the fact that he wore leather pants. is there a female alive who can resist the complete and utter sexiness of it? egads.
Mick Jagger is much hotter. He wore leather too, and never got fat like Jim did. *looking for fat pics....* Ok, they can tie
mick jagger is not hotter. plus, his voice isn't so much sexy as..okay it's hot but not AS sexy. Rockstars ( or aspiring ones) are very hot. as long as the music's decent.
I used to think that the Doors were great a couple years ago, but after hearing more music by other artists, I don't think so highly of them now. They weren't bad, though. I'll always like "The End."
i actually wrote a small dissertation on leather pants. chalk it up to me having too much freetime and being obsessed with aesthetically pleasing males. http://www.livejournal.com/users/sparkli12/
I totally agree, Jim Morrison is the hottest guy ever!!!!! I have Jim Morrison everything and I love the Doors. P.S. There is no way in hell that Mick Jagger is hotter!!!!!
Wow... you really messed that one up, didn't you? First of all, that was written by Huxley, not Morrison. Second, you left out the most important part of the quote... "...the doors of perception."
This girl can't hehehehe, though I must admit, I'm more into Pink Floyd at the moment. Most likely because they're somewhat new 2 me
Yeah same here... "The End" is one of their best songs. I would whore for that. Ahaha... they're not bad, the music is alright, but there's just so much better out there. EDIT - And Jim is NOT that hot. I'd rather fuck Bob Dylan. Because I whore for poetry. And Dylan writes amazing poetry. He makes the Doors's lyrics look like the stuff of kindergarden.
you can whore for poetry, but i whore for fun! as for the music...psychedelia is my faveorite at the moment ( i say moment because i discovered it mostly this week ) but the voice. god dammit, the voice! i'd fall over dead if i heard that from a real guy. ( in leather pants of course)
Read my post in this thread. It's not all psychedelia, although most of it is, but it's all '60s music.
I don't see why you like The End all that much, I find the studio version to be soooo boring Altho on the cd "Essential Rarities" (and a few others, I think its the only live recording of the song...) there is one kickass live version of The End... yall should find it :H
