This forum seemed so lonely with only one post, so I'll add to it. I just wanted to make a list of favourite places I've been, although I have no pictures to post. Sedona, AZ USA Lourdes, France Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON Canada all were such touristic, spiritual, historical places and loved them all for different yet wonderful reasons...

I'd guess that most people who've been there are touched in some deep way. I'm not a very religious person, but I can't help but feel the spirituality of the place and the people. (I'm struggling to find adjectives to describe it). I sat all day with a local man, overlooking the burning ghats, discussing many aspects of life and death. Men were washing the mud left from the monsoon floods off of the ghats with fire hoses. After finishing with a section, kids and adults would scour the area looking for gold teeth and jewelry left behind from the cremations. That night I went to a classical Indian music recital. It was my first real exposure to this type of music. I have been hooked ever since. Varanasi is a powerful place. I will be sharing the place with my soon-to-be wife next year.
Glacier Park - Logan Pass - hiking the continential divide to Hidden Lake. The Blackfeet Native Americans knew this as "The world's backbone" for thousands of years. It's very alive in every aspect a human can experience. Glacier Park is the park of National Parks for sure.
Bhaktpur, Nepal Annapurna mountain range, Nepal Srinagar - Leh - Manali journey, India Luang Prabang, Lao Muang Sing (Trekking to surrounding villages), Lao But probably the most awe-inspiring place has to be the Angkor ruins in Cambodia. I'm surprised no ones mentioned it. Even though mass tourism has arrived there it's still a truly magical place. Never felt anything like it. The giant faces carved into the rocks at the Bayon is incredible.
Yellowstone River - just west of the Missouri and Yellowstone confluence, eastern Montana - The old train and vehicle bridge is now a park with a kick ass walking trail through the old Cartwright Tunnel, the only train tunnel in North Dakota. Been hanging out here lately, nice place this time of year.
-parvati valley, the road to pulga, forests and mountains around the place (himalayas) -east africa, some rather wild spots
